Postbank Donates Tree Seedlings Worth Kshs. 600,000 to National Youth Service

Postbank Managing Director Mr. Raphael Lekolool presents a cheque worth Kshs. 600,000 to NYS Director General, Ms. Matilda Sakwa in favour of tree seedlings. The Bank partnered with NYS and committed to plant one million trees across the country. The pledge was made at a tree planting ceremony held at National Youth Service Field Unit in Kirimun, Samburu County. This is in response to a call by the Government to increase forest cover in the country from 6.99 per cent to 10 per cent before 2022.

The two government Institutions have a standing partnership where Postbank conducts financial literacy to the officers and cohorts at National Youth Service in a bid to enhance financial inclusion.
